Re: Looseunits EP82

After having a bit of a mishap at the end of the 2009 season with the crank pulley coming off halfway down the drag strip, the car got parked up for a while until i gained some interest in it again. I got a crank pulley off Dexgt and took the car into the Rebuilders to get fixed. Unfortunately when ...

Re: Looseunits EP82

Bought a evo 6 intercooler and made up some 2.5" alloy piping to suit. Initially I had the turbo side hanging down quite far as I was running 26x10.5 mickey thompson tires at that stage so i wasnt too fussed about how far it hung down as the car was jacked up rediculously high to fit the tires http:...

Dyno time was next. The 11 psi tune made 163kw with power still not dropping away at 8k rpm http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/looseunit/100_0531Large.jpg Decided bigger was better and got Damian to make me a t3/t4 keeping the same exhaust housing so it would bolt straight back on. He sent me ba...

Re: Looseunits EP82

Put the car on a trailer and headed back up to Kris's for the final touches. Kris got the it started and made a guess tune which ended up being spot on so that i could run the engine in. Once it had a few kms on it Kris took it out to give it a tune. He arrived back some time later to tell me that i...

Re: Looseunits EP82

I had been using a 4 puk autoclutch disc with the standard pressure plate but it started to slip. I thought this was good motivation to go LSD. So i ordered a Trd Lsd off Revhead and got Geartech in Palmy to install it along with some new side bearings and seals. My mate had been working on another ...

Re: Looseunits EP82

I was sick of wastegate boost at this stage so I decided to bite the bullet and fork out for an eboost2. I think it was one of the best things i ever bought for the car and im still using it now. Raised the boost a little and started going to the Masterton drag meets. Eventually managed to crack my ...

Looseunits EP82

Thought id finally get around to putting up a build thread of my EP82, feeling slightly less lazy than I usually am. I bought the car about 8 years ago, pretty much stock except for a 2.5" press bent exhaust and a ct12 from a hiace. Drove it around for a year untouched until I started talking to Kri...

We try to manage the posts that they put up, and to be honest theres not a huge amount of random posts that pop up. And any that we see we delete straight away. Stu also keeps an eye on bogus memberships and deletes them as he finds them.

If you were going to go down that track rrp would be the only way to go. Although rrp varies from place to place anyway, our prices and repco's prices can vary greatly.
