Just bought 5e-fhe manifold(1/2 from finx 1/2 pick'a'part), should be put on this week.
Got mrglanza's veilside bumper on friday.
Possibly getting a strut brace this week aswell
Will post pics when i have them put on

*edit* Parents have taken control of bank account and wont let me spend any money to get a strut brace or get the manifold fitted. *edit*

Thought i would do a little update.

Got a front strut brace the other week, made a noticeable difference.
Having way more fun now but found out a couple of times how little grip starlets have, understeer + oversteer all over the show in the wet.
Next up is getting the 5e manifold installed then start saving for some lightweight mags and wider tyres.

Finally got around to getting the 5e exhaust manifold on!!! Bit louder and faster.

Also got a whiteline adjustable rear sway bar   which is really noticeable (thanks gtpornstar)

Now figuring out what to start saving for next. Ideas anyone???

Finally found a front swaybar. A guy was wrecking a GT starlet on trademe and i managed to get the whole setup. $20

Fitted it today, only took about 2 hrs of fighting with the bar to maneuver it around the exhaust. Would have been way easier if my exhaust had a flange that i could undo, will have to put one in when i get the 5e done.
It has majorly improved the handling, I dont know why toyota didnt put them on this model from factory

Was at pickapart yesterday and spotted a cynos (el44) which had been prety much stripped except for the seats  .
So $60 and about 1/2hr later my car now has some way better seats.
They sit way lower, Im 6'4"(ish) and now have heaps of head space when i could only just fit my fist above my head with the old seats. (helmet rubbed on roof at drags)
The car now feels like a go-kart, cant wait to lower it.

Also got a small external tacho a while ago to use until i work out why the one in the glanza dash isnt working.

Bit of an update.

Recently got a foglight wiring kit and some SCA work lamps which i modded to fit the bumper. Didnt fancy paying $200 per side from toyota
Image

I was really bored today so i finally got around to fitting the side skirts.
I realise the cutout is a bit obvious as the cut area still needs to get painted and filled.
Image
Image

Have also ordered these Glanza stickers for the sides and rear hatch.

While browsing around ripco i decided to get some Anodized Red VHT paint for the 5e's rocker cover.

Time to bring this up to date.

Installed GT Starlet rotors and carriers with ebc greenstuff brake pads
Image

Managed to find a factory 3 point rear brace. Also wanted more bass so put in some 6x9's in the back.
Image

Bought some safety gear so i can race in a new series starting in October. Have now found out that i need a fixed back seat so have ordered some bride rails from japan. Just looking for a seat now.
Image
Image
Image

Got some Cusco Camber plates and some new kyb front shocks.
Image

Bought clear indicators off trademe
Image

Also had to get new front tyres as I didnt get an alignment after getting it lowered and 15,000k's daily driving, 2 track days and 30+ runs at the drags made the inside edges bald
