New Zealand Starlet Club

Ive had my starlet for almost a year now. Bought it from a damaged car auction and won it for $125!! Then Auction fees bumped it up to $200 then of course the $600 to get it shipped across the strait from Nelson lol.

Heres a pic of it the first day i picked it up.

So far, with most of the time being a student with shit pay ive managed to mod her a little bit.

In order somewhat:

Full sounds + Sub. What are bootspace.
Stickers
POD filter (Yeah shut up)
Automatic to Manual window conversion. (Drivers regulator bent and smashed two windows + window ECU fucd out)
Repainted Drums (Still looks like i did it yesterday cheea!)
Lost my license for 3 months so i stripped the rear bare and cleaned the bare metal.
Swapped out rear fixed seatbelts for retractables. (Shot Pickapart)
TRD Adjusties. Stiff as and 2deg camber yooo

And now that im fulltime im starting to save for the bigger stuff!

Rims + Tyres which i should be getting tomorrow!!

I should keep this up to date once i master this thing. We'll see!

So the day after my first post i did indeed get those new wheels and hot damn it looks like a completely different car!!

They're Koya AE-TEK's. Staggered:
15x7 +20 at the front
15x8 +15 at the rears

And there are 185/55 R15 Bridgestone MY-02's on all 4 corners. I dig the extra stretch on the rears

Should have mentioned earlier that i have a Turbo S donor car lol

A few months ago there was a Turbo S being parted out in Nelson. A few of you bought some of the parts i think! It got stripped pretty well bare. I bought the motor and 5spd box and got the shell for free with a few other parts and interior bits. Well here it is!











70,000k's on the shell and motor. Should i rebuild it and replace all seals? Its been sitting a looooong time.

The head is clean as. Heres a big pic.

Its also missing a few things to get it to run:

Fuel pump, lines and tank
Thermostat and housing, hoses, that radiator looks pretty well cooked too.
Probably more stuff too. Its stored ages away so i never get to see it. Need to get some cash together and start work on it!!
