Has a few issues and whatever but was cheap. Trying for a cumfy street/drag type car with one of the main goals being weight reduction.
Major work that i'd like to do:
-External wastegate as ATM i have incredibly shit boost control.
-Mold my own boot, bonnet, front guards and front and rear bumpers out of glass fibre- without heavy hinges and with minimal bracing (4 pins per lid etc)
-Buy a cheap spare auto and modify it using information from various websites and tutorials I've discovered- raised line pressure, Kevlar clutch packs and heavily shimmed accumulators.
-Remove all sound proofing and unnecessary hidden weight from the car- leaving just the relatively light and pleasant looking items like carpet and dash.
Heres what I've done so far and the memorable things that have happened- I'll throw in a bunch of posts I've made over he past month.
ALSO. I have to say a huge thanks to my good friend Shane (WhiteGlanza) for all the help throughout this project so far. Most of whats below has been done in his garage and with his help- because of my current living situation there is no way I could have done it without him- and even if i could- I probably couldn't have got enthusiastic enough without having company.

It used too much fuel on the way to auckland

It got way better after fixing the O2 sensor wiring.

Dad got angry. Said something along the lines of " FUCKS SAKE! ITS STARTED ALREADY!!!! (in reference to car being in pieces)
The hand belongs to my sister. She is pretending to be asian. Not a good impersonation really since she is actually pulling the fingers and not peace.

engine bay.

Installed a sweet HU etc. its cool.

Took a video to show how traction limited it is.

I realise I do not have many photos of its exterior- reason: its bloody ugly. But I found some to show you exactly what it looks like.

Minus the twin exhausts, fat wheels, fat tires, facelift tail lights, rear sun visor

REmoved the stock HEAVY seats and replaced them with some nice seats from a 95 supra. Saved around 30kg and they cost me SFA (i even managed to sell the old seats). They are a straight bolt in.
Brakes are LS400 4 pot aluminum monoblock calipers with 320mm disks. These calipers were part of the TRD brake upgrade for mk4 supras.
shit seats

Nice seats from '95 supra.

Empty car, dirty carpets and a guy called Shane.

Wiring was stupid easy. Plug was different but wiring colours were the same.

Installed

Beer

Shit brakes

Dust shields

Cut dust shields

yay.

Finished

Had to trim a bolt to stop rubbing on the bakc of the much thicker disk.

I need new rear speakers.

Found the factory subwoofer hole under the parcel tray. Was covered with a disk ya could peel off with ya fingers.

Unfortunately although internets said i'd be able to fit a 10" sub in there using adaptor- my shallow depth 10" wont fit even partially in there without major trimming of the hole (big no-no for wofs and shit if they find out/realise)

Got IC.

Then sold it.
Have made the decision to go with a propper W2A setup.
Made two ply/MDF rings and hotglued them into car with speaker in the correct position (very little room to play with). Hot glued rings and supports/spacers together and then yanked out.
Took some very shiney and stiff plastic (took from work) which may or may not be called a mylar. Wet two layers of glass mat onto the plastic and then wrapped it around the disks and taped it in position so its now acting as a cylindrical mold.
I then glassed the inside with more stuff.
And made a mess when the resin ate the bottom of our KFC pot out. KFC's potato and gravy is less toxic than polyester resin. Potential add campaign?

Popped off the plastic. It released excellently the epoxy didnt bond with it at all. Left a glassy smooth external serface on the pod with jus the seam at the front needing a bog and sand.

The 4 tags actually have holes to bolt the pod down to the rear parcel tray (there are 4 threaded nuts already in the tray for cars that have factory subs there)
Primer is patchy because its still wet.

Have to mount amp etc and buy some better wire.
Sound is pretty good with some songs and REALLY shit with some other songs. Parcel tray needs to be covered in dynamat to stop it flexing and the box under parcel tray needs to be built to seal it all as ATM its running in free air. Some songs get the parcel tray resonating something terrible.
Anyway. Pics.
Mark on the rubber surround is just dust.
PLastic outer ring cover thing is actual black just looks really grey wit the camera flash on it.

Until next time.
