Open links on new tab?

Post by GtRacer » Tue Nov 01, 2011 7:11 am

Anyway of making this happen please? Always forget to click back when clicking on a link in a post say http://www.youtube.com then you end up scrolling 10 videos or whatever forgetting that you were on starlet central and end up closing the page.

Thanks

Ctrl + Left Click, works on every site (including this one). Opens a new tab from that link.

Doesn't work unless that has been step up in the mouse settings..... the default for W7 is 'flip' (change windows)

so thats a no then?

much easier knowing that when you click on a link its gonna open it in a new tab and you dont lose your place on the current forum

works a charm on toyspeed and nzhondas

ok. its default in phbb2 which is what ts uses, we are on phbb3, need to modify the forum code to make work. which cant be assed / don't really want to do. isn't just a tick box option

oh thats reasonable, code isnt really an easy thing to work with

PLUS

right clicking the link and opening in a new tab saves moving your hand up to the CTRL button, most times i browse the forums not anticipating to type things hence why its nice if clicking a link opens in a new tab
but
beggars cant be choosers haha
