Yeah, wondering the same thing here Stu.
I think the whole starletcentral thing has been on the downhill for some time. Just to clarify what i'm talking about ... the calibre of forum content and members joining, not so much site content.
My 2c, and only my opinion.
Cheers,
Paul.

My 2c and only MY opinion.
I've been watching starletcentral myself, and to be honest its been GREAT!
Keep up the good work!!
With being deeply involved with rebuilding another car club over the past
few months, the starletcentral forum has been an invaluable source of
information and examples on how I personally didn't want the direction of our
own forum to head.
I have put together a moderation team with a clear set of rules regarding
expected behaviour of forum members. Posts designed to stir are moved
immediately to a quarantine section, with a PM sent to the poster every
time to explain the rule breach and reasoning, and give the opportunity to
'correct' the post if for example a 'miscommunication' has occured.
Companies who do NOTHING for the forum members, yet expect to be
allowed to advertise, and use the forum as a way of contacting customers
are laughed at publicly then banned.
Moderators moderate the forum, Admin only moderate the moderators.
This is to stop abuse of power, for example: mods posting a 'final retort'
then locking the post for all to see.
Take what you want from that, but so far I and the others involved have
a forum based on a community that is happy to share its knowledge and
skills.
Thats even without possessing psychic abilities that tell me whether or not
a new member is 'up to the calibre'.
The few times I've been tempted to share any little bit of knowledge I may
have that may have benefited someone here, is normally quickly dismissed
by some negative comment towards the 'ask-ee' implying they are an
idiot for asking.
I expect this will be moderated... possibly by AXNGRL as she may take
this personally, and I might be sleeping on the couch tonight, but I assure
you, this is only intended as constructive criticism. (don't hit me honey)
Improvement doesn't come from being told what you are doing right.

its ok, I don't feel any need to moderate your post as it got some really good points in it that I think everyone on this forum can learn from

as long as you provide something back to starlet central members, then you won't have a problem. I've seen you post quite a few times in the tech section, so am pretty sure you have nothing to worry about.

Don't click on the links people.
