still not sure what is happening with this. apparently it has something to do with an upgrade... but i cant even upload my avatar again so i have no idea.
but i do know that, for once, this is totally not my fault.
ill get onto my contact at zylex and see what they can do.

I tried reloading mine & it still didn't work....

talked to someone yesterday who is going to find out what is going on (mind you, he said that last week too).
one of the problems seems to be that zylex got compromised a while back... a hacker got in and now zylex is paranoid enough to lock me out of the server. so now i cant update the site or check the avatar directories or anything...
but hey- why the fcuk would i break into the servers hosting a site that i run??? <sigh> next time they tell me they have been broken into ill keep my mouth shut rather than giving advice on what the hacker was likely to have done while he was inside.
anyway... hopefully it gets sorted soon.

still no word back from Big Ben, but i think that the uploading of files in general (ie not just html files for the site) from the starletcentral account has been forbidden completely.
that would explain why the browse button is not showing up,as PHPBB is smart enough to realise that it cant save the files on the server. in the mean time zylex are probably making double-sure that everything in our account is clean before they let me back in. <fingers crossed>
until then... remember that we are getting this hosting absolutely free from zylex as a favour! so no DOS attacks or mailbombs!

ps. remote avatar still work fine, so if you have somewhere else to host the image you can do it that way.

FRUSTRATION big ben is still ignoring me, i am still stressed from my exam this afternoon, and the zylex problems havent magically disappeared!
whats wrong with this world??? i did the magic problems-disappear-chant! someone must have hexed me. maybe 'Vechlie Sue' put a curse on me.
