hey guyz, i think we should start up a members only area so we can discuss club stuff with out every1 looking at it???? what does every1 think?

you mean like an active members only forum?

i think that can be setup pretty easily...

make a new forum group. fill it with the moderators and founders. then the moderators can add people that they know are active members of the club (ie have seen them at racedays or meets). only people in the new group can access that particular forum.

but do you really want something like that? i guess its up to you guys.

But if we did have one then most of us would be in it! it wouldnt be all that exclusive coz we dont have all that many members just yet...

True, but at least we could keep tabs on who was playing an active part in the club and wouldn't be consistantly disappointed by false promises.

I'm with you on you last comment Harlet. I would go further (in an effort to gauge true committment and benefit to the club), application of a $ 10 yearly subs to access this area. Members to this area be issued a SC member card, obtain club discounts where applicable etc. Main purpose of a $ 10 collection would be to obtain committment and it give the club an ability to raise some money to subsidise events such as track day hire or displays for future show 'n' shine etc. I figure $ 10 / year is inexpensive and enables us to go to the next level without trying to walk before crawling !

same here, seen i was the one that suggested it so we need 2 sort it out asap

OK so what you want to do is have a password protected area that you pay money to be able to gain access,

U need some one to collect money oh and find out if its legal for you to.
