bought this about a year ago and have finally decided to restore it. car is currently stripped and off to the panel beater for full rust repairs and panel & paint.

finally got some pics of the car stripped, rust is even worse than we thought. after taking the strip that runs along below the wipers we found 2 massive rust holes and had to pull the windscreen out. also had to remove the boot as it had quite a bit of rust there too.

few more photos i got about 2 weeks ago. its now all primered and will be getting sprayed next week. coming along a lot faster than i thought.

car has finally been painted, just gotta put back the windscreen and the roof lining. then gotta drop the new engine in, get link installed and tuned and its done.

intercooler piping and exaust getting done next week then just g4 link and its running

almost done, just getting oil filter relocated tomorrow and mounting the coil pack. Also have changed to a evoIII throttle body and will be running a haltech ecu instead of the link. For now its just got a 4efte in it till the 5efte is finished.

just had to fix an exaust leak and few other bits but otherwise its ready for Glen to give it a tune. Sounds quite nice and runs smoothly apart from feeling every bump in the road with the new suspension.
