I thot in order to view the forums itself, that is other than the car of the month, suggestions etc, you have to sign in to view/write them. So in a sense most of the site is a members only area.

Exactly, there are only three areas that are open for all to see - the rest you have to login to get to. We even looked into people paying a sub and forming an officialy club but typically no one made the effort (just like the drag day...). So no, we wont be making a members only section.

well im keen its only 10bucks one a year whos going to miss that amount. I think the members only area was a good idea but once people have had something for free they generally dont see why they should have to pay for it. The discount idea is where youll get more members even if its say up and coming bussnesses to get there name out there or a well known bussness releasing a new product or wants some beta testers to trial the product for like 30days then give a sumery or somthing back to the company etc (spelling isnt my strong point) from what shams was saying sounds like wepr (Wicked EP Racing) is trying to break into the New Zealand market. Im not saying they give us the products just a tiny bit of discount.
You see where im going with this even tho its 10$ people still like to see somthing for there money. Ill go up to $30 per yea. Ive only been on here like a month maybe 2 and i have got a fair share of usefull information from here i would be happy to pay it and discount would be excellent we all like to put money into our cars but more parts for less money is allways better
