So it's a 1996 Glanza V. It has a factory LSD but other than that just a standard old starlet. It has a fmic, HKS bov (not sure if it's genuine or not), pod filter and a 5Zigen exhaust.
I got it needing some work but of course the seller 'forgot' to mention a few things
Was told the handbrake didn't work. Me and a mate went to sort it out and discovered both rear calipers and sliders were seized (right locked solid). Rebuilt the calipers, got new pads then discovered the discs we got wouldnt fit the ABS ring and had the wrong offset. So we will take in a old disc to compare options. Probably will have to replace the cable as well
While doing this we discovered the waterpump was leaking. Seller obviously forget he had to top up the water all the time. Ordered TGP cambelt kit, waterpump and seals from Mark @ Manawatu Toyota.
The drivers door lock had been screwdrivered so swapped drivers and passengers.
Had a shitty alarm with no remotes, a turbo timer which didnt work and stupid pedals, all which got ripped out.
Has had a slight fender bender and the mounts have broken off the front lights, so will replace. Plus old owner decided to paint eyelids on them
Plans are once these things are fixed, i'll get some new tyres, replace gearbox oil and make a custom intake behind the intercooler.
